Our youth pre-folds are designed and manufactured by a leading maker of infant cloth diapers. The 100% cotton threads are woven in a twill weave pattern which makes the diaper extremely soft and much more comfortable than flannel or Birdseye materials. The pre-fold design is the same found in many of today's infant and toddler size cloth diapers and our youth and adult sizes are an "exact" copy of what is referred to as a Diaper Service Quality (DSQ) Chinese pre-fold. The design allows for use during the daytime under street clothing without being noticeable. The diaper is available in five sizes to ensure a comfortable and "custom" fit. These diapers become softer, thicker and take on a quilted look after the being washed approximately five times. The center soaker panel (10 layers) runs the entire length of the diaper. The short edges are surged with white thread to prevent unraveling of the layers. The long edges are folded over during the manufacturing process which makes the use of surging this area unnecessary and provides for a more comfortable fit. Our pre-fold diapers are for teens dealing with heavy bladder and/or bowel incontinence. They will provide the ultimate in protection when worn with our line of waterproof pants.

Please take into consideration before ordering our pre-fold diaper will shrink after several washings as the sizing chart reflects above. Always order the larger size if you are borderline between two sizes. I highly recommend purchasing one diaper initially to see if it will meet your needs in terms of fit, comfort and absorbency. The washed sizes are all approximate as the pre-folds will shrink at different rates based upon which roll of bulk material was used during the production of every diaper.

Double diapering is highly recommended for heavy wetters during overnight hours or when away from the home for an extended time and finding a private location for changing could pose a problem. The use of a second pre-fold diaper one or two sizes smaller or infant pre-fold diapers are the perfect answer for these times.

The use of Dritz blanket or skirt pins may be the solution for individuals who have a hard time pinning these diapers. These pins can normally be found in the notions section of most fabric stores   

*   Please remember no cloth diaper and waterproof pant combination is completely waterproof or leak proof. Cloth diapers will begin to leak when they exceed their absorbency. They are designed to keep you dry, not stem the tide.

** The diaper is designed to last up to 500 washes with using proper washing methods. The use of chlorine bleach or enzyme whiteners will dramatically reduce the life of the diaper. Avoid the use of fabric softeners as they will mat the fabric and make them less absorbent.
