Welcome to Changing Times Diaper Company, your premiere Las Vegas retail store for quality reusable and disposable incontinence products. Our store is located at 2675 E Flamingo Road, Suite 5 in Las Vegas. We are in the Flamingo Center which is between Eastern Avenue and McLeod Road. We are east of Desert Springs Hospital and surrounded by numerous medical facilities and physicians. The best part is we are a short distance from The Las Vegas Strip and McCarren International Airport.
The Flamingo Center is located at the corner of Flamingo Road and Eucalyptus Avenue. Bus stops (both east and west bound) are conveniently located across the street.
Our operating hours are Monday to Friday 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM. I close for one-half hour in order to run errands. I reopen at 3:30 PM and close at 6:00 PM. Please feel free to call if you have any questions or wish to schedule a private shopping experience.
""Please be aware my return to Las Vegas is delayed till approximately Thursday the 20th. A serious problem arose with our initial moving company which resulted in the need to find a new moving company at the last minute. Gayle and I are hopeful our household goods will be picked up on Tuesday or Wednesday and we will be back to Las Vegas shortly thereafter. I am sorry from the bottom of my heart for the delay in shipping of your products. Finding a new moving company at the last minute was absolutely necessary in order to avoid unnecessary stress and wondering where and the condition of our household goods.""

After a bumpy start, our Las Vegas retail store is back on track. It was very disheartening to announce our unexpected closure shortly after the store opened. The reason behind the quick closure announcement was not because retail sales were not going well. The reason was Gayle and I were having trouble selling our Yuba City home. We were tired of receiving low ball offers. Our remodeled home has many quality features and we were not going to give it away. We decided to take a different sales approach which brought a potential buyer back to the table. Our home has recently received a home inspection, appraisal and pest inspection. It appears (at this time) we have cleared some major hurdles and soon we will be purchasing a home in Las Vegas. Now it's our turn to be the buyer.
We have new business hours for our retail store. We are now open Monday to Friday. Our hours are 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM. I close for one-half hour in order to make a quick trip to the post office. We reopen at 3:30 PM and close at 6:00 PM. We are available for private shopping and this can be arranged by calling us at 530-635-7456.
I am pleased to announce the arrival of disposable diapers from AB Universe. We now offer Little Pawz, Space, Lavender and Super Dry Kids diapers. This is great news for local residents who do not want to wait for their diapers to arrive via UPS. It's also good news for individuals visiting Las Vegas and do not want to use valuable luggage space for products they will need during their stay. Traveling I-15 through Las Vegas and you are almost out of diapers? We are conveniently located a few miles from I-15 and Flamingo Road exit.
We are also pleased to offer disposable diapers from Bambino, Secure Personal Care Products and BareBum. These companies offer quality products and also a welcomed addition to our growing line of incontinent products.
Arriving shortly are disposable diapers from Tykables. I have never worn this brand and have only heard positive comments from my local customers. Comments on the Internet are also positive. This will (almost) complete our inventory of disposable products until I am able to make a purchase from RearZ. I look forward to offering a line of quality disposable diapers for the AB/DL community along with a nice selection of plain diapers for individuals who are incontinent.
Our disposable diapers can only be purchased at the store. An agreement between CTDC and the manufacturers state I cannot offer their products at prices lower than their advertised price. Many of these companies price include free shipping and this is why their prices seem a little high. If I were to offer the ABU, Bambino and BareBum diapers on-line, shipping would be required. This would be rather expensive considering the weight of a package of diapers. A sample pack of two diapers alone would be around $10.00 via USPS. For this reason I suggest going to the company website of these disposable diapers in order to save money.
A new order of pull-on PUL pants from KINS should be arriving shortly. Expected in the order are small and medium white PUL pants along with large dinosaur and frog & turtles print pants. I also requested large dinosaur print pants in the low rider style. This is a great pant for use over disposable diapers as it fits closer to the body. Again, these pants should soon be available.
I am still unsure at this time how much longer I will be able to offer the PUL pants made with Babyville PUL. I am hesitant about ordering the material from the east coast supplier as I know the shipping cost to Richmond, British Columbia will drive up the cost of the pant. They are already expensive enough to manufacturer with the material coming from west coast suppliers. My suggestion is to not wait too long to make a purchase of your favorite print and size. This in all likelihood will be the last order of PUL pants from KINS.
The ABC Expo makes its annual visit to Las Vegas this month. This is where manufacturers of juvenile products come to showcase their products. ABC Kids Expo is my opportunity to meet face-to-face with domestic and international manufacturers of juvenile products and discuss the possibility of working together on adult incontinent products.
Our first product at CTDC were adult pull-on waterproof pants and bibs from Bumkins Finer Baby Products. These were fantastic products which had long been sought after by many individuals. Bumkins and I had a great relationship while working on these products. Unfortunately the pants and bibs came to an early end when manufacturing of their diapering products moved to China. It's now been several years and it's time to attempt to bring the adult products back to the market. I am hopeful to meet with Bumkins representatives to see if these products can once again be manufactured for CTDC.
Along with Bumkins, I hope to meet with other manufacturers of infant cloth diapering products to see how receptive they might be to entering the adult market. One company which comes to mind is Bummis from Canada. We have discussed adult pull-on pants in the past and I hope to meet with them to discuss this in further detail. It should be an exciting time as I explore the Expo to discover products which might work well in the adult cloth diapering world.
Attending the Expo is our cloth diaper manufacturer. We have worked together for several years and have never met in person. This should be exciting as he will have the opportunity to visit our retail store. I am hopeful he will be pleased with our display of his contour and pre-fold cloth diapers. This will also be a great opportunity to discuss new products. One product I am interested in is a pull-on style diaper using their diaper twill material. All I need to do is get several pants he can use as patterns. Again, this should be exciting and hopefully lead to a new reusable product for CTDC.
I was informed by the previous US supplier of Snappis that the size 2 toddler were no longer being manufactured. It has come to my attention they are still available. I have sent an inquiry to the manufacturer to see if this is true. I am hopeful based upon their website I will be able to once again provide the larger sized fasteners. Many individuals find them easier to use than standard diaper pins or the Boingo fasteners. Stay tuned for news about the toddler size Snappi. FYI. Looks like they have some new colors.
The shipping app for our new Shopify program continues to give me problems but I believe corrective measures are slowly providing more accurate shipping rates. Some rates are either right on, under charging or giving rates to send products to the South Pole. The most inaccurate rates were for shipping pre-fold and contour diapers. These weights were corrected yesterday. I will continue to make small weight adjustments for all products this week which will result in very accurate shipping quotes. Please be aware if you overpay for shipping I will refund the difference to your credit card. Also, do not hesitate to contact me if you have a question about shipping.
I would like to thank everyone who sent me an email during a questionable time for CTDC. It's appears we are on track to make our retail store unlike any other in the US. Where else can one go to see a large assortment of adult cloth and disposable diapers, or an array of plain, pastel colored and print waterproof pants. I am hopeful Gayle and I made the right decision to take a chance at this time in our lives. Time will tell if we operate a successful diaper retail store or if it's back to working for someone else. Wish us luck as we are going to need it over the next few months.
As always, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns about our products or service.
